so tired of all the fucking comparisons on Tumblr. Every fucking refresh leads to someone stating that someone else is copying someone’s outfit, copying someone’s music style, copying someone’s hair choice, copying SOMETHING! If all you can do is sit around and pick two images to place side-by-side in an attempt to be a sycophantic idiot to the masses in order to gain notes and followers, congratu-fucking-lations! You’re oh so talented. How about we take a picture of your wardrobe and place it next to someone else? How about your hairstyle? Oh, maybe your makeup? Seriously, no one should be expected to be “original” all the time (honestly, NO ONE is an original at anything). There have been, and will always be, people who have already done it when it comes to popular culture and a great many other facets of human life in general. Billions of people have inhabited this planet. There have always been others who “pushed the envelope,” “were original,” “were inventive and innovative.” No one’s going to be the first, and no one’s going to be the last. Fuck the comparisons and just appreciate it in the moment.
